Salvage Kings returns for a third season of incredible treasure hunts and big changes. The HISTORY Channel Canada Original series follows salvage expert Ted Finch, as he ventures out on his own with a new business dedicated to finding rare and historic items. With a team of fresh faces, Ted’s goal remains the same: save valuable treasures from buildings before they are demolished, get them appraised and restored back at Ted’s shop, and find the perfect buyers. Ted and his crew take on some of the most unforgettable salvage jobs this season. And with his new business, the pressure is on like never before.
Ted has set up his new headquarters in a beautiful 100-year-old former train station to house his growing collection. However, to make his new business a success, he has to secure the best finds, maintain his loyal customers and find new ones. Not to mention, hire the best team. Enter salvage assistants Brandon and Nick, salvage restorer AJ and office manager John. Together, this dynamic team scout astounding places to unearth remarkable objects, ultimately saving them from destruction. Throughout the season, Ted’s team explore a sprawling famous hotel, massive industrial mill and a celebrity home — uncovering incredible discoveries at every turn.

Owner, Flashback Salvage
With more than 30 years of experience in the salvage and antique business, Ted Finch has been in the game a long time and has decided it’s time for a change. He’s leaving his position as Head of Salvage for Priestly Demolition and is striking out on his own with a new business — Flashback Salvage. He has set up his new headquarters in a 100-year-old train station in Orillia, Ontario, but that’s only the beginning. To make this gamble pay off, he’s going to have to hire the best team, secure the best salvage, maintain his loyal customers and find a whole bunch of new ones. Ted’s incredible knowledge of history, and the objects connected to it, make him a recognized global leader in his field. His fascination with items from the past and learning the story behind them has branded him as a modern-day treasure hunter.
Brandon Campeau worked in the construction business for five years before joining Ted last season on his salvage team. When Ted goes out on his own to start Flashback Salvage, Brandon is first in line to join the new business. Brandon prides himself on being a hard worker who always sees the good in people and in any situation. His unyielding work ethic and contagious enthusiasm are evident as Flashback’s first hire. Brandon is ready to double down with Ted, and to continue to learn all there is to know about salvaging plus, the historical value of the treasures they find.
AJ is a self-taught Jill-of-all-trades, who learned the importance of working with her hands and fixing things at an early age at her family’s retail business. She’s especially proficient at display-making, which is a key skillset she brings to Flashback, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude. AJ knows the ins and outs of restoration and repurposing, as well as the business of sales, making her an asset to the team at Flashback Salvage.
Having previously worked together for eight years at Priestly Demolition, it was only natural for Ted to ask John to join his latest venture. As the Office Manager at Flashback Salvage, John brings his managerial and customer service skills, as well as trademark dry wit to managing inventory on salvaged items. John loves seeing what the team brings back from each job and looks at salvaging as an important way to honour history.
Nick has worked in the heavy equipment industry for nine years and brings his exceptional operator skills to the team at Flashback Salvage. If Ted sees an item he wants to extract, Nick goes in with his heavy equipment and tools, employing a “get it done” attitude and his love of a new challenge. A fan of being on the road, Nick is interested in the business aspect of salvaging and enjoys seeing what new adventure is around the corner with every building they discover.
